Ground Services
RIVAIR Ground Services
Once candidates start their courses, they want to fully concentrate on their training. We know by experience, how big help a little favour can be when you are in a foreign country or busy with your education.
We offer a wide range of ground services so you can fully concentrate on getting your certificates as soon a possible. Our friendly ground staff is always there for our students whether you have visa issues or just a simple daily issue to be answered.
If you are a candidate outside the European Union, you might need a VISA to enter into and stay in the country. The VISA process might be complicated for people who are faced with it for the first time.
Do no worry! You are not the first foreign pilot candidate in our school. We are professional in the air and on the ground! Our approved training organisation can issue an invitation letter for entry or a confirmation letter for your residence in the country. We also provide support for VISA processing issues, if required. The authority asks why you are here, we will answer that. The Immigration Office is 450 metres from our office.
Useful information for the visa process:
- Purpose of the visa: ‘Other’ (not study purpose). We are an ATO (approved training organisation), we are approved by the Aviation Authority. It means we are not a school but a ‘training centre’.
Nowadays the only option is a D type visa. The duration of D type visa is a minimum 91 days (it can be extended for 1 year if necessary).
What documents are required for the visa procedure?
- valid passport (must be valid for the whole visa period)
- invoice of the training fee payment
- a proof of the savings (stamped and signed by the bank) which is not older than 30 days
- bank account statement for the last 6 months (stamped and signed by the bank) which is not older than 30 days
- contract/confirmation about the accommodation for the whole period
- insurance (mostly health)
- letter of invitation, which we will issue for you.
Medical examinations are a crucial aspect of the enrollment process for EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) aviation training as they serve several important purposes. Our team is dedicated to connect the dots between the candidate and the corresponding doctor/examination, whether it is Class II or Class I. We can arrange a doctor’s appointment for you and advise how to progress in case any further medical issues you might have.
Class II examination is within a 5 minute drive from our Head Office.
In addition to study materials and preparation, you need to pass a ICAO English level 4 exam by the time of your solo flight.
We offer the option to complete the ICAO ELP exam from Level 4 up to Level 6 in Hungary. We can help you to fit the exam into your training agenda.
You can take the exam in person or online, the choice is yours.
