Austro Control Examinations

The conduct of all examination is the sole responsibility of Austro Control in accordance with the statutory provisions of Regulation (EU) No. 1178/2011 and the relevant test regulations laid down by Austro Control.

We offer official EASA theory exams in full accordance with regulation EU No 1178/2011 and all applicable rules and regulations. Successful examinees receive a theory certificate, issued by Austro Control. This certificate, in accordance with the basic regulation, is accepted by all other EASA members that are eligible for issuance of an EASA license. Please note that according to regulation EU No 1178/2011 FCL.025 (a) (1) applicants shall take the entire set of theoretical knowledge examination for a specific licence or rating under the responsibility of one Member State. In line with regulation, it is not possible to swap between authorities.If you already started your exams under the responsibility of another EASA authority and would like to take your exams under Austro Control you would have to restart your exams.
